It all started with a Fisher Price cassette recorder when I was five years old. That’s where my love for audio storytelling began. Growing up, I immersed myself in audiobooks—“book on tape” as we called them back then—like "Ninja Turtles: The Complete Adventure." I also enjoyed recording my own stories.
As time went on, my collection expanded to include Disney stories on vinyl records and cassette tapes such as "The Empire Strikes Back" radio dramatization, which I played endlessly. I loved creating my own soundscapes by connecting a cassette player to the VCR, recording sounds from battle sequences in "Ewoks: The Battle for Endor," and running around the yard with my Walkman. I was the kid who would sit on his bed and listen to Halloween sound effects tapes for fun.
Of course, music became another avenue for expression. It started with the piano and expanded to include guitar, bass, and drums. Throughout high school and most of my twenties, I collaborated with many musicians to create music that resonated with our audience. This musical journey ultimately paved the way to my career today.
As a composer and audio engineer, I've scored music for numerous TV spot projects and spent nine years at ReelWorld Productions, where I helped produce thousands of radio jingles. I've had the pleasure of composing music for clients such as Creative Media Alliance, Unleaded Music, and The Elements Music. My work has been featured on ABC, CBS, and NBC networks, as well as at the 2017 SXSW Film Festival.
Today, I continue to channel my passion into every project I undertake, whether it's bringing stories to life through music or enhancing brand experiences with captivating audio. Let's collaborate on your next project and bring your vision to life.
